John Curtis Christian School is a safe and drug free school.
Drugs, alcohol, and smoking/vaping are prohibited from school and school-sponsored activities. A mandatory drug testing program is in place for all students in grades 9th – 12th. This is an enhancement to the schools drug education and prevention programs that encourage students to make positive choices. Students represent our school in the community and are responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate way. Any act or behavior from a student which conflicts with the Christian teachings and rules of John Curtis Christian School or community laws is grounds for expulsion.
It is our goal at John Curtis Christian School that every student that comes through our doors will know the truth of Christ Jesus. We are a non-denominational Christian School that will speak of Jesus and his Love for each and every one of us. Our purpose is to guide and instruct young people on how they can become closer to Christ each and every day through our daily living. We will teach them by example. The Salvation of an individual is an independent decision between that person and God. So, we will try to give them the tools that are necessary to stand firm and make that decision.
Monthly Christian Chapel services at the Upper School campus and daily devotionals at the Lower School campus are held to expose the truth to each student at John Curtis Christian School. Each morning in their respective homeroom classes, students will have opportunities to share prayer requests with their teachers and classmates. Each day, homeroom class begins with the Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
There is a cafeteria on both campuses equipped with staff and equipment to accommodate our students. Students may bring their lunch from home and/or purchase lunch in the cafeteria facilities. Click below for more information on adding funds to your child's school lunch account.
The Patriot Picayune is our student-produced digital news publication. New editions are published monthly.
